Since same time last year, Insight Scientific participated in the construction of China's first 46-large cylindrical battery cell production line. Insight Scientific worked closely with leading lithium battery companies to overcome various difficulties in logistics and travel during the epidemic, and successfully completed the debugging and trial run of the first 46 cylindrical battery production line. The battery products produced by this production line have been highly recognized by well-known European automobile customers. The mass-produced 46-cylindrical battery cells have been delivered to European car company customers in large quantities, and have won larger ongoing orders. This track record ensured our success in this bid, and the multiple 46-cell production lines will be implemented in Hubei and Yunnan province respectively, and will be put into trial operation by the end of the year as planned.
As the second phase of the large cylinder production line, its functions and efficiency have been massively improved. The back-end equipment that Insight Scientific participated in includes: defect detection, accurate measurement (shoulder height, column height, diameter, R angle, etc.), high-speed automatic sorting and packaging. Not only has the efficiency increased from 150ppm to 180ppm, but the measurement accuracy has also been greatly improved. For example, the accuracy of cell diameter measurement has been increased to ±0.01mm, and the measurement module has also added voltage testing. In the sorting and packaging part, the high-speed cup holding line further strengthens the safety of battery cells during transportation. These new production lines will further strengthen the global leading position of this top lithium battery company in large cylindrical power batteries.
