On the afternoon of November 14th, Mr. Sathish Palani and Manager Xue listened carefully to the report of Insight’s engineering department, and learned about the motion control mechanisms of each section of the fully automated probe assembly equipment. After two days of uninterrupted pre-assembly, assembly, testing and statistical assessment of on-site data, the fully automatic probe assembly equipment successfully passed the FAT acceptance of Smiths Interconnect. Mr. Palani and Mr. Xue are very satisfied with the current progress of the equipment, and highly affirmed the strict diligence and professional accumulation of Insight Scientific.
This fully automatic probe assembly equipment can handle the automatic assembly of extremely tiny semiconductor probes and the related testing procedures after assembly. At present, the minimum probe diameter is 0.15mm, and under the fully automatic setting, 720 probes can be automatically assembled per hour. Mr. Sathish pronounced the equipment as the world's leading equipment to assemble semiconductor probe (pogo pins, or spring probe), and greatly appreciated the professional strength of our technical team and the professionalism of our employees, and said that the long-term strategic partnership between Smiths Interconnect and Insight Scientific has a solid foundation since this project.
